Shimba Hills National Reserve: The reserve is just a 1.5-hour drive from Msambweni. This reserve offers a unique opportunity to spot wildlife in a beautiful landscape. Such as elephants, antelopes and a variety of birds.
Masai Mara: : For an unforgettable safari experience, travel by plane from Diani to Masai Mara. It is a popular way to reach the beautiful Masai Mara in just a few hours. It offers you the chance to travel quickly and comfortably from the coast to the wilderness. This world-renowned reserve is known for its rich biodiversity and annual wildlife migration. If you are staying overnight in Masai Mara, our recommendation is Emboo Camp.
Tsavo National Park:: This vast park is famous for its large populations of wildlife, including the iconic “red elephants.” A day trip is possible, as well as a multi-day visit. You will reach Tsavo National Park by car or by plane. As an overnight spot, choose one of the luxury lodges. Our favorites are Satao Camp and Salt Lick. Travel time from Msambweni to Tsavo National Park is about 2.5 to 3 hours by car. Along the way, you will experience the beautiful Kenyan landscape as you make your way to one of the largest and most impressive national parks in the country. The flight from Diani to Tsavo National Park takes about 1 hour.

Orphanage and school in Msambweni
We lovingly support the Munje Primary School and Nice View orphanage in Msambweni. The school and orphanage are not far from our Luxury Apartment Camare. We are grateful to be able to contribute in this way to the development of children in an environment we love so much. It is a source of joy and inspiration for us.
The students of Munje Primary School are extremely happy with the school materials we bring them. Like ballpoint pens, pencils and sports shirts. The children in the orphanage we make most happy with toys. In this way we are not only helping these children in their educational journey, we also help them with a better future. And we contribute to their self-confidence and their motivation to learn and grow.
Every time we see the smiles on the children’s faces, we know why we are doing this. We believe that education is the key to a better future. We are therefore proud of our partnership with Munje Primary School and Nice View. Together we are making a difference in the lives of these children.

Climate
Msambweni has a tropical climate. As a result, the temperature does not vary much during the year. The average daily temperature is around 27°C throughout the year. More facts:

- Daily temperature variations are small, with only a few degrees difference between day and night.
- The warmest months are February, March and April, with temperatures around 29°C.
- The coolest months are July, August and September, with temperatures around 25°C.
- The weather is sunny and dry from December to March.
- The rainy season is from April to June and from October to November. But even then the weather is pleasant.
In general, the climate in Msambweni is very stable and tropically warm throughout the year. The small temperature differences are mainly due to the rainy seasons.
